I remember Betty quite fondly as a "tiny but mighty" spitfire of a lady with an unforgettable "sweet-and-sour" sense of humor, very devoted to her family and friends, hard working and always sincerely friendly, truly one of a kind.

Hi! Hope you remember me! We wrote each other for a little while after hphs days and as I recall, you were in Izmir, Turkey. Well anyhow, I have lived in Columbus Ohio since mid 1970, have 2 daughters, four grandkids, two cats and a dog. My husband lost out to cancer almost three years ago. I was so very glad that I checked in on the website and saw your posting. I'll be checking back! I'm not on Facebook and my email is also different because of computer issues.
