Comments:

I married my high school sweetheart during my sophomore year at Northwestern. After getting our degrees (Lee a PhD and me a BA), we spent 19 years in East Lansing where Lee was on the faculty in Education at MSU. I taught elementary school, went to graduate school while having three children, and worked as an Instructor in the College of Education.

We moved to Stanford in 1982 when Lee was offered a position in the School of Education. I worked as a researcher at WestEd, an educational non-profit in San Francisco, where I focused on teacher education and teacher learning: published numerous casebooks with teachers on dilemmas of teaching and journal articles, gave seminars in the US and abroad on case based teaching, and supported teachers to achieve National Board Certification.

Lee and I recently retired and spent seven months traveling, including 4 months in Israel. Now that I’m back home, I have more flexibility to visit children and grandchildren, and am in the midst of figuring out, once again, “what I want to do when I grow up.” Looking forward to reminiscing about the high school years.

School Story:

I remember the formality of session with Ms Morgan and the outstanding Great Books course with Ted Repsholdt.

I'm so saddened to hear of Nancy's passing.  Her eulogy is a wonderful tribute.  We were good friends at Ravinia School and always walked to school together.  Nancy's artistic talents were obvious even in elementary school.  I will never forget her infectious laugh and great sense of humor;
