I taught high school English for four years. Then I started selling real estate in Illinois, then California and have been doing that for 32 years. Now I have two grandsons so I spend two days a week loving them. I also am a docent at the Skirball Museum, so I guess teaching is still in the blood. I am Senior Associate Manager of my real estate office and participate in three book clubs. My husband and I love to travel, and now we are going to do some sellling together now that he is retired. This summer we travelled to Israel and since it was 20 years when we were last there, I was blown away by the changes. One of the most fun things was visiting with Lisa Spertus Gross and Bill Gross. When I travel, it is a joy to see either family or friends. UPDATE. I am retired!!! Still docenting, book clubing, and now mahjonnging and grandchildren. I hope to be back visiting in September. UPDATE: Went to Chicago and had a ball. I didn't see any HPers, but visited with family and friends. It was cold, but it felt great since LA was hot, hot, hot. My e-mail address is bermy@msn.com.
School Story:

My favorite memory is of my friends being together at Cynthia Jacob's house for the Junior Prom. None of us went.

It is so good to hear from you. I live in California with my husband of 53 years. We just downsized and moved to Thousand Oaks from Tarzana, the Valley of LA. My son is married and has 2 sons, the loves of my life, and a daughter who is a criminal defense attorney and living with a very nice man. We try to come to Chicago once a year now but sometimes other places call to us.

Boy, do I need to update. We downsized three months ago by moving to Thousand Oaks, CA. I have two grand sons who are 13 and 11. My daughter is a criminal attorney and lives in Truckie Ca. My son is married and lives in Agoura Hills CA. and is the father of my Grandsons. He is a ticket Brocker. My husband and I are retired. I still do some Skirball, but I am going to be at the Reagan Library since it is only 10 minutes from my new house.
