I remember my mom had to write a letter to the principal saying she was okay with me wearing blue jeans before I could wear them to school!

I remember the wretched blue gym suit girls had to wear in PE, and even worse, the tank bathing suit.

I remember having beer parties when my parents went out every Saturday night and throwing the beer cans in the ravine to get rid of the evidence.

I remember the smoking room that seniors were allowed to use.

I remember my friend forged a teacher’s name on a pink pass saying we were going to the art department to get out of study hall every day.
