We have scheduled our 10 year reunion for Saturday, August 18, at Bar A, in Belmar :) Thank you, Colby for the fabulous idea and to the entire planning committee for your input!
This location and idea proved to be the best option. It was difficult to guarantee an exact number based upon sign up on the reunion website, and secure a venue and exact cost per person in advance. This option allows for outside bar locations, an unlimited BBQ at $8 per person with beverages served at a discounted cash bar and an MC and DJ are on hand for announcements, games and lots of giveaways.
The reunion will not be private, so we can bring guests and you do not have to RSVP in advance. The coordinator of events from Bar A let us know that each school typically congregates in one area, so we will still have that "togetherness" feel :) Right now, we are the only school signed up for this date.
We are working on getting some info from a local hotel for anyone who may want to stay nearby, but that is completely optional and up to everyone individually to plan.
