I lived near Mike in High School and always liked him. I was shocked and saddened when Buck Eilers told me of his death. I think Bill Tokash said it best when he said, "I didn't know about Mike Peters, damn, he was a good guy....." Anyone who knew Mike would agree, Bill.
I remember Mike living on 49th ave. All the girls thought he was good looking. I would see him on his bike alot. He was very popular and had a nice smile. Mike had quite a group of friends. I am sure they miss him dearly.
I remember Mike from grade school at Ridge View. His mother was my fifth grade teacher. He and his mother both are very nice people. I didn't learn of his passing until after he had died and we were working on organizing the 25th reunion. He was a really great guy.....and is sadly missed by us who had known him since grade school.
