Christine M Duffy

I believe in living every day to the fullest and I collect life experiences. That has included parenthood, world travel, skydiving, scuba diving, cave diving and other adventurous pursuits.

I graduated from USF with a degree in Mass Communications & Public Relations and lived in the Tampa Bay area for most of the time, except for a 6-year stint in Raleigh, NC where I met and married my now ex-husband.

Much of my career was spent in healthcare PR and marketing. I retired to Central America to beautiful Boquete in the Panama highlands at age 61 and am continuing my world travels from here while I practice yoga and learn Spanish. I recently purchased a home on a canyon with an amazing view of the mountains. Muy tranquilo.

I was active in Keyettes and loved working on the floats. I was briefly a member of Future Homemakers of America before I woke up and realized that being a homemaker was not in my future.

Since my family did not have the means to send me to college, I never planned to go. It was Mr. Kwint in Guidance who insisted I go and that the money would come from somewhere. He was right. I stayed home for a year and attended BCC while stashing away cash working for General Motors in Miami where my father was in charge.

The rest came from loans and part-time jobs when I moved to Tampa with Teresa D'Abruzzo and Beth Barrenger.
