Jason and I lived in Hood River, 4 years until the company we were working for, Round Top Windows, moved to The Dalles and then we purchase our first home there. We lived there for about 6 months with our two children and my younger sister, and thing with the company we were working for weren't going the same way we were and so we decided to sell everything we owned and to move to Canada were Jason is from and where his family is. The trip was a once in a life time experience for us. We drove from The Dalles to Waterford in our Jeep Wrangler filled with our stuff and two boys (then 3yr and 9 months)and it only took us 6 days to do it and drove across a lot of US states to get where we are at today. We have lived in Canada 5 years now and are very happy here with our family and friends.
I currently am a stay at home mom until Briar is in school full time (in Sept 08) and then who knows what I will do. My husband is working for a company driving tandum truck and working in the yard, he is also a full time volunteer firefighter. We just purchased our first home in Canada on May 1/08 and we are loving it.
