Wauleai {Skeeter} Buck Huckabee

I spent two years at U of A in Fayetteville and finished my degree at HSU in Arkadelphia. Mark and I married in 1982. I started teaching at Spring Hill High School in 1983 and retired in 2017. We have two great kids that I am very proud of and we live in Spring Hill. We've played basketball, football, run track and spent a lot of time in rodeo arenas.

As an FCCLA adviser, I have had the pleasure of having several district officers, 4 state officers (including a state president), and my proudest accomplishment---a national FCCLA officer! I was the Executive Director for Arkansas FCCLA for a while but am now fully retired!

My husband had a severe hemorrhagic stroke in 2023 and consequent TBI and I have learned to be a nurse and caregiver.

Mark and I have a grandson, Jace, who was born in 2022 and a granddaughter is due in Oct 2024.
