You must have went to LRHS to know that you could find Joseph Wilson in the Pet Dept. of Wal-Mart (when it was on the other side of Garner's Ferry)

You must have went to LR, if you were waiting near the C Building for those hot cookies that Ms. Dover and her students were selling!

You must have went to LR, if you remember all those parties at the National Guard Armory.

You must have went to LR, if you remember when we could drive through Ft. Jackson to get to the other side of town. (Before 9-11)

If still to this day you can hear Mr. Goodwin repeating his favorite words in your head (BE QUIET....SIT DOWN) all long and drawn out all priod long in your head, the you for sure went to LR.....Nice work on the web page.

You know you attended LRHS when you can write your own tardy notes to the front office to get a pass to class the entire school year without being questioned about them nor having your parents being questioned. Maybe I was the only one doing this....... then again, maybe not!!!LOL

April Foulks

Too funny guys.
You know you went to LR if your lunch consisted of a chick fil-a sandwich, some of those fries with the season salt, dominos pizza, or making a run to Chinese America for some fried rice and wings. Did anyone eat from the cafeteria?

10/07/09 09:37 AM #23

April Foulks

You know you went to LR if you had to buy advanced tickets for an LR vs. RNE game.

10/07/09 09:52 AM #24

Stephanie Davis

Henry....??? We could do that? LOL.

I do remember those cookies for FBLA. They were great.

And...the chick-fil-a sandwiches....man they always use to run out fast!!

April, I don't remember eating in the cafe. Haha. What did they serve?

10/07/09 01:00 PM #25

This site is great and funny. And believe it or not I remember all of this quite well. LOL!

Few things,
Janee, I think you were the only person to receive the pass from Lisa
Maurice, I was never in ISS...I was to slick to get caught.
April, good call about lunch food, but how can you forget the BBQ sandwiches from Big T that we would buy from the Canteen on Tuesdays and Thursdays...I think.
Ronald, good one about Mr. Goodwin but one thing. What the hell was he saying? His tongue was so heavy and he was so country that you could hardly understand the words coming out of his mouth.
Speking of that, does anybody remember the math teacher Mrs. McCutchin? She was the only math teacher to teach math from behind her desk. She never stepped from the desk to the chalkboard. I don't think she even held the door open at the beginning of class.

I have enjoyed reading these. Yall are hilarious.

You know you went to LR if you avoided the "H" building.

You know you went to LR if you tried to run to see every fight.

OMG this is funny!!! You all are on point with this....but someone please tell me what was the deal with the MS building steps. Where are the "Bleacher Bums" now? What about good ol' Mr. Scriven? And what was the deal with the long lines at the pay phones during lunch, I mean who were they talking to LOL.
