Sorry to see post of Marilyn's passing.  Our son moved back to Rochester and his kids went to grammar school where Marilyn worked at the front desk where you came to pick up a student.  I did that for my boy and there was Marilyn.  I recognized her and she recognized me right away.  We spoke each time I came to pick up a grandson.  Our families symathy to her family

John, please know that the class of 1966 are deeply sorry to hear of Marilyn's passing.  She was a beautiful person and friendly to all.  I'm sure that she was the very best daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, friend and worker to you all through the years.  We sure enjoyed her through our school experiences.  Deep condolences to you all.

John,

Sorry for the loss of the love of your life. Sadly, I didn't see this until today.

As you know, I have wonderful memories of the Swartz family from my years in Breesport. Spend many Wednesday nights and Sundays together with Marilyn in the choir at Breesport Methodist Church. She was an important part of the group of friends that inhabited the playground in Breesport throughout summer days. Marilyn was my on again, off again girlfriend from my junior year through first year in college, when we separated and she found you. I remember some lovely times meeting her in Rochester where we attended church while I was a graduate student (1980-82, I recall).

Marilyn's dad, Vern, was very influential in my life, taking me on family outings, teaching me carpentry skills and how to pour cement. I was saddened that he suffered from dementia for many years, such a brilliant man and engineer.

Please pass on my condolences to Ron Swartz and, of course to your children.
