Most of you probably wont remember me. I use to hang out at Walts Restaurant next door all the time instead of showing up for school. Mr. Gallagher use to send for me sometimes but i spent school hours at the coffee shop or waxing my car. My sister Genevieve Brandenburg always was on time at school. I did show up for the dances though at the gym. Along with Bob Clark. Gerald Morosky always had something funny to say. I lived at Warminster and Byberry Road and spent all summer painting the greenhouses there. I was left back in school several times and was still a sophomore for second year when I went in the service. I joined the army and went into the 101st Airborne Division. And then finally into Special Op's. I got out in 1961.And then use to hang out at Hatboro Swim club along with Lou Huber, Cliff Fertone, Jeannie Houser and Maureen Monteith. I went to Willow Grove Beauty Academy then and became a hairstylist. When the Vietnam was blew up I volunteered in 1965 again for Paratroopers again and my old outfit. I did get wounded but finally got home again in 1969. I went back to Hairstyling. And that is what i have done up till now. I have always thought about my wonderful time at the Hatboro Horsham High Dances and wished I would have showed up more for school instead of going in the service. I always thought about all of you and how wonderful school really was. I did date Maureen Monteith (HHHS class of 62) for a couple yrs prior to reinlisting for the vietnam war. I am so sorry to hear that she is gone along with other best friends Louis Huber and Don Gottshaull. Well anyway thought i would write a little of myself here to let you know I would have loved to known all of you but I just cut school way to much. I wasnt a hood but did like my leather jacket, jeans and D.A. haircut. Love Ya's Raymond J Brandenburg
