Obituary:

     Christina Pearl (Stark) Cooper, age 77, was born March 31, 1941, in Houston, MO to Virgil Norvin and June Nadine (Clark) Stark. She passed away March 14, 2019, in Springfield, MO due to a difficult surgery.

     She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Junior “Mack” Cooper; a brother, Charles Eldon Stark; and two sisters, Emma Sue Hodges, and Marlene Neal Shultz.

     She became the wife and bride of Mack Cooper on June 26, 1958. Four children were born in their union. She was a wife of almost 58 years and a business companion from 1982 to 2003 in her husband and sons business.

     Christina is survived by her children, Mac Alson Cooper and wife Cathie of Mtn. Grove, MO, Janetta Foster and husband Steve of Cabool, MO, Twila Jenkins and husband J.W. of Ava, MO, and Tina Cooper of Houston, MO; eight grandchildren; twenty two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Alvin Ray Stark of Houston, MO; two sisters, Sherry Mahurin of Kirksville, MO, and Erma Tyree of Houston, MO; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

     She enjoyed sewing, as a mom she made clothes for her, her husband and her children. At one time she was a seamstress making clothes for customers and square dancing outfits. Christina was talented in arts and crafts, flowers and quilting, and loved to square dance.

     Christina will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
