Obituary for MARGIE PEARCY 
Margie Ann Pearcy, 76, passed away Monday, Feb. 27, 2017, at University Hospital in Columbia.She was born Dec. 1, 1940, daughter of Adron Carl and Rosa Jackson Guynn. She and Stanley Pearcy were married May 1, 1960. He passed away July 30, 2007.
She was raised on a farm in Success along with two sisters and three brothers. She graduated from Houston High School.She accepted Jesus Christ into her life as a young girl. She attended Central Baptist Church for many years.
She has worked for H.D. Lee, Brown Shoe Company and Houston House.
She loved to read, crochet, play on the computer and listen to gospel and country music. Her greatest joy was spending time with her kids and grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stanley; a grandson; a sister; and two brothers.
Survivors include two children, Steve Pearcy of Lenexa, Kan., and Teresa Pearcy of Houston, Texas; three grandsons; a brother, Junior Guynn of Texas; and a sister, Nellie Wallen of Marshalltown, Iowa.
Graveside services are Thursday, March 2, in Central Baptist Cemetery with Pastor David Barbee officiating. Burial is under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
