Terry Ray Cole, 77, Rogersville, Mo, passed away Friday, April 12, 2019, in his home.  September 6, 1941 - April 12, 2019

He was born September 6, 1941, in Fordland, Missouri, the son of the late Bill and Opal (Peck) Cole. He was united in marriage to Sue Lynn Brent. She preceded him in death in 1983.  On November 27, 1998, he was united in marriage to Dorothy J. Cook.  He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Troy and Gary Cole.

Terry was in the food brokerage industry for many years before his retirement.  He enjoyed growing vegetables in his garden and giving the produce away to his family and friends.  He never met a stranger and had a wonderful sense of humor.  He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy; two daughters, Cindy Spaulding and her husband Keith, and Tracy Cole; a son, Brent Cole and his wife Missey; a sister, Carolee Roberts; two step-sons, Ron Barnum and his wife Vicki, and Tim Barnum and his wife Robin; a step-daughter, Teresa Hamilton and her husband Randy; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at Second Baptist Church, 3111 Battlefield Rd, Springfield.  Burial will be at a later date in White Oak Cemetery, Rogersville.
