John Fred Canada, Deceased June 11, 1971

John Fred Canada was born near Huggins, Mo., October 16, 1941 and was killed in a car accident near Indianola, la., Friday June 11, 1971. His funeral was at the Dahlstrom Funeral Home in Des Moines, Iowa. and internment in Woodland Cemetery, also in Des Moines. He was 29-years-old and has working at a Steel Corporation in Kansas City. Mo. at the time of his death, but was in the process of moving to Des Moines. He grew up in the Huggins Community and attended school both in Mtn. Grove and Houston. He is survived by his wife, Sue, of Des Moines; a small daughter. Tammy of Houston, Mo., also a step-son, Scott, of Des Moines; his father, Fred Canada of Mtn. Grove; his mother, Magdalene Atherton and his step-father, Willie Atherton of Huggins; one brother, Dan Canada of Davenport, la. and six sisters; Mary Akers and Sue Delcourt both of Kansas City, Mo., Martha LeHerman of Murray, Ky., Buell Hogan and Nell Shepherd both of Des Moines. and Joy Clark of Mtn. Grove.
