David A. Worthley, Deceased November 11, 1997

David A Worthley, 57, of St. Joseph, died November 11, 1997 at St. Joseph hospital. He was born August 5, 1940, in St. Joseph, Missouri. He lived in Houston for 10 yeas and attended the Houston schools, but had spent most of his life in St. Joseph. He attended Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield and Northwest Missouri State University in the Maryville. He graduated from the N.S Hillyard Area Vocational and Technical School as a tool and die maker. He was a guard for Wells Fargo and later a tool and die maker for Geiko. A Catholic, he was a former member of the Knights of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his father, Houston K. Surviving are a daughter, Christine M. Barnett of St. Joseph; his mother, Berniece J. of the home and a grandchild. Services were November 14 at Meierhoffer-Fleeman Funeral Home at St. Joseph. The body was cremated with a private family inurnment at a later date.
