I graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX in 1992 with a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Sociology. I began working as an Adult Probation Officer in Austin, Tx in 1992 and worked in Austin for two years. In 1994 I moved to Dallas, Tx and continued to change lives as an Adult Probation Officer and worked in Dallas County for thirteen years. I married my wonderful husband, Wade in 1995. We had our first child, Braxton in 1997 and then our second child, Aubrey was born in 1999. I love being a mother, and wife. In 2005, my husband received a job transfer with Varsity Brands Inc. after National Cheerleading Association and Varsity merged companies. Our move to TN was devastating to our family. It was difficult moving away from our friends and family. As time has gone on, we have made a lot of new friends, but still miss our family dearly.
During the first two years here in TN I was a stay at home mom and would volunteer much of my free time at my children's school. I was at the school so much that the office offered me a full time paid position in the school office. As for now, I love my job and love being close to my children, their peers, and teachers.
Me and my family stay very involved with not only the community but with the activities my children are a part of at this time. Braxton plays travel ice hockey and we travel from state to state during the fall and winter months. Braxton also plays football and dad is the head football coach. Aubrey is a competitive cheerleader and travels around to area competitions. She is also in gymnastics and loves to tumble.
We love our life and as our children grow like weeds we will continue to cherish the time we are spending with them on a daily basis. God has blessed us with wonderful friends and family.
I will miss seeing you all at the reunion as I will be traveling with my son for ice hockey. I hope to be able to get in contact with many of you over the next several months and remain in contact over the years to come.
