Hi all. So good to remember good times at Broadway. Give me a shout.
Since a few people are being so nice, I will share a few details of my life.

When I left Broadway I had a deep hole in my heart that could only be filled with youth. Broadway was an answer to prayer. I couldn't decide between elementary school, junior high or high school in teaching and the Lord blessed with all of you. I was in heaven my first year. Loved my second year, but have always needed change in my life so left after my third year.
I was a public school biology teacher and tennis coach for one year and it was the worst year of my life. Good though in that I had to create lesson plans. Something I winged at Broadway.
Then to stay with youth, I opened a driving school at Judson High School in San Antonio (Converse) and had a few great years. I knew every football player and loved my relationship with so many students. It got old and took so much of my life. That is when my shape went. Sitting in the car all day, working 12 hours a day.
I have been involved in some way with driver education since 1986 and even at BBS. I owned a defensive driving course and several schools across the state taught my course. I currently am in the process of selling it to some people in California.
In 1996 I bought a courier business that had one account. DHL. They are the biggest courier service in the world, but I get very few jobs, especially since they left the US. I am in many ways retired right now, but do still have my finger in having to make sure we comply with regulations.
So pretty boring now. I intentionally got away from driver education and really am looking for something that will fill the hole in my heart once again.
I am very blessed and knowing God is still my greatest desire. That was another reason I was so happy to be at Broadway. The Christian values made the lack of monetary compensation worth it.
I am amazed as I remember all the students and some of the faculty at Broadway what a blessed time it was. Not sure of all the people who have established and worked at getting this reunion together, but thank you all so much.

Fall festival. Sadly putting Jay Klingenberg into the water in the baseball toss 3 or 4 times in a row. All the baseball players and basketball players and sadly the soccer players who I never led to a win that I can remember. Watching and playing with the girls volleyball and basketball team. Loved em all. Drill team trips to San Marcos. 6th grade (I believe) trip to San Antonio. (bus driver) Lois MCPherson, my partner in PE. All the great teachers. The lunch lady, who I am surprised I don't know her name as I really liked her. Mrs. Gebhardt! Always understanding and sweet even when I used the word but- to tell someone to get to a place of my designation. Literally busting my finger open showing the players how to bunt a 90 plus mile per hour pitch when it hit my finger against the bat and blood squirted everywhere and then having to drive the bus to a basketball game. All the behaved students in PE class, except for Mandy Harbour (Very much kidding). Beating ST. John's with a last second shot by Jerry Dorris. Losing our last game and it was mostly my fault and the refs. Running with the basketball team and they placed second as a cross country team and we were just there for exercise. Playing on the beach with the baseball team. Mike Hall getting cancer and now beat it. I am sure there are many more experiences that are just as important - but this shows I was paying attention.
