Alicia Rascon 'Pi Rascon Humberson

Graduated from UT-Austin with a degree in journalism. Taught a couple years - AISD substitute teacher and Americorp Tutor. Worked in nonprofits for a few years - Latino USA NPR, CASA of Travis County and Austin Children's Museum. Lauched LatinitasMagazine.org as the first digital magazine for U.S. Latina youth. Started a nonprofit group called Latinitas which focuses on empowering Latina youth through media (LatinitasMagazine.com). I got married to my college sweetheart - Delbert Humberson in 2006. My son Robert was born in 2007. I moved back to my hometown of El Paso in 2008. I started graduate school in the public administration department of UTEP in the fall of 2008.
