I've worked in Dallas since I graduated from UT. Always within technology no matter what the business type. For the last 20 years I have primarily been a CIO or COO at various size companies from startups to corporations with over $2 Billion in annual revenue.

Most recently i have have focused on turn around IT work where I come in as a contractor and help with dis-functional IT departments or BOD critical/visible projects.

I also got a black belt in mixed martial arts with the focus being Kung Fu. And have written a book of poetry, yes poetry. It has a range that starts with kids funny poems and goes to some very dark stuff, along with a few adult or R rated rambles. I also have a small hunting company that I am trying to get going, it manufacturers a new type of hunting blind. Currently seeking several patents for the product. It's tons of fun and tons of time.

1) I can remember our graduation as they called all the names, the last name was going to be called and when we all looked there leaning on the podium was Byron V. grinning from ear to ear like only he could. We had a great class and it was fitting that he got to close it out as the last one to walk across the stage. Anyone else might have been anti-climatic.

2) I remember the coaches always wanting me to play quarterback because they said I was fast. But every time I was interested in asking someone out, Lonnie had already beaten me to the punch. I think he was a lot quicker than we gave him credit for!

3) David and I being told that 6' 0" would probably win district in high jump and us being excited cause we could do that height. Then the guy who won our sophomore year jumping i think it was 7'. At the time the world record was 7'6". So much for our glory there. But we did both letter so it was cool. I don't know if i ever told David but i ran track my first year of college and jumped 6'8". Then decided to give up track for girl chasing.
