I was thinking we could go at least by 6. Traffic is the devil over this way heading 45 n so I will start out of here a little earlier. You just come on whenever you want. So far the only early birds for set up are you and I, well and Beau, but that's like bringing Barney, he will be playing. He's only good for loading up the minute we get out of the car...after that it's over. LOL.
We can decorate, kick back and chill and snack...
I will do name tags too for those who are a definite yes.

I hope it all turns out good. I hate that I get anxious over this stuff.

LOl we can be anxious together...who knows if I do it early enough you may even get a drink in me:) I just gotta have time to still drive back home cause I know Mikey will be smashed by the time we leave:)

Sounds like a lot of fun. I really wish I could be there. Have a few for me. Hey Deana, let me know if it is a definite go or not. Give me a time so I can make sure I am with ya with nothing else planned. I may even have a few drinks in me already just so I can enjoy it even more, hehehe. We all can be drunk together.

I know the feeling Becksters...when I see Beau, that's my drinking meter...LOL..I will have to share the story aboiut what he did last time we went...what was that 2 weeks ago? You see he looked quite fine the whole night right? Yall will crack up when you hear this one...
In the meantime...LJ I am gonna be there early so I will set it up and test it first.
I know you are gonna think I am a tard, but what's our time difference again?
I hope it works...and where do you want us to login at? like yahoo messenger or something? Anyone know of a site to do this with? I haven't done it. I should never have a webcam...that's a whole other world of documentation! Im working to see if we can have a webcam-ish site on live chat when I find the time. This has been alot more work than I ever anticipated, so please be patient with me,

"Cough Cough- I think I'm coming down with something, maybe we should go and get to bed early"
How's that Deana? I'll be practicing all week.

I do plan do bring some money over to you, just to help out with decorations or you can buy a tray from Kroger or something.

12/09/08 08:49 AM #1790

Jonel Bishop (Lockler)

Still waiting for the end of that story Deana.

Good morning Deana. No, I don't think you're a tard, ritht now Central Time is 4 hours ahead. I say right now, because we do not chanage times twice a year like most normal parts of the U.S.
We can use Yahoo Messenger. Just download it to the computer within the next couple of days to try it out. I am at work right now, so I can't get on to it. I am working midnight to noon for this exercise. I get home around 1 pm, so that is 5 your time. We can test it out later during the week after you download it.

12/09/08 08:57 AM #1792

Deana Sampson (Jenkins)

That's AWESOME! But sniffle with it and sit in front of the car heater to make your face real flushed!
LOL
We will miss you.Beau loves him some Kevin! The list is getting bigger, so if you guys cut out early enough, you know it's not jumping til about 9 and you know we shut the place down!
Thanks for the food support, you don't have to, I'm hitting up those coming...lol...all my crew is doing christmas parties!

12/09/08 09:03 AM #1793

Jonel Bishop (Lockler)

I'll have to eat some spicy food, so I'll have a runny nose too. Hope we can make it. If not I'll be thinking of yall.

12/09/08 09:49 AM #1794

Vicki Johnson (Patzold)

Joni-take a tube of WASABI paste with you to the party in your purse. Trust me a dab about the size of a pea you will have a runny nose, watery eyes...and possibly a very ill look on your face if you are not use to it....LOL. I swear just drink you a lot of fluid and the feeling will pass in about 5 minutes. Note: the more you take the harder it will hit so start in small doeses!

In case you are not familiar........wasabi is that green stuff you find on sushi or on Japanese dishes. Let's face it, it's easier to carry in your purse and take a small dose of it, than horseradish....LOL

12/09/08 12:11 PM #1795

Rebecca Atchison (Welch)

Hey Deana I think I heard the Beau story on Facebook. Too funny!!!!! And he did look fine. He was doing a pretty good job of holding his stool down:)Well I will see you around 6ish then:)

12/09/08 12:44 PM #1796

Jonel Bishop (Lockler)

Oh I am very familiar with wasabi. Kevin loves wasabi on his sushi and he kept trying to get me to try some. After refusing over and over to try it, he slipped some onto my plate when I wasn't looking. Let's just say I was not happy with him and that very moment. Good thing we had plenty of water at the table. I think I drank all four glasses of water in about 30 seconds.

12/09/08 02:39 PM #1797

Rebecca Atchison (Welch)

LOL Mike loves that stuff too....I had no idea wht the name of it was when I was having to make my food list for the insurance company so I literally wrote Hot Chinese stuff that's written in chinese...I know dork moment...what can I say:)

12/09/08 05:04 PM #1798

Vicki Johnson (Patzold)

I love, love, love Wasabi! John orders his sushi without it.....I order mine with extra. Then again I like horseradish too......so what can I say, I like spicy stuff. Thing is I don't know if I really call wasabi or horseradish hot stuff.....doesn't actually make your mouth burn, but does make your nose feel like it's on fire, great way to clear up a stuffy nose!.......LOL

12/09/08 09:37 PM #1799

Rebecca Atchison (Welch)

Hey V just copied your military list...Matt is in FFA at school and they are doing a military collection for Christmas!!! Super helpful! Esp since the note that came home said this is what we are doing, send baby wipes or whatever you would like them to have....:) So I told Matt to take him the list so they don't try to send Spam thru customs...LOL

12/09/08 09:58 PM #1800

Vicki Johnson (Patzold)

LOL.....well when you've sent as many packages as I have and have others who send as well.....you learn!

I guess I should have also included vienna sausages, but here's the trick....if you send them just say they are chicken. My sister in law put that on a form one time and the lady at the post office kept nodding her head yes at her saying, "They are chicken right?"....LOL

Actually, I love the Turkey Spam. I don't eat pork anyway. You may not realize it, but Hawaii is the Spam Capital of the World. They have an annual Spam Festival here. So many dishes they make with spam. You can even get spam at McDonalds here with rice for breakfast.

12/10/08 08:05 AM #1802

Deana Sampson (Jenkins)

Spam for breakfast at Mc Donalds?
WOW.
I think we ate it when I was little, but I can't remember the taste of it.

LJ-they have a big spam compitition at the State Fair in Alaska. They have categories from appitizers to desserts! Can you imagine spam as a dessert?......ewwwwwwwwwww

12/10/08 12:41 PM #1804

Rebecca Atchison (Welch)

Gross....

My mom use to make us Spam and cheese sandwiches which I always hated. But it's not tooooo bad if you use if for spam salad....guess I am not a big Spam fan. Unless ofcourse it were the last food here on earth...then I'd be calling LJ for recipes:)

While we are on the subject of spam...be sure to check out the list on our home page and see if there is anything you may be able to donate to support our troops or help out a local shelter! We will have collection boxes at Big Texas for all donations! Thanks ya'll and God Bless!!!

oh spam isn't that bad. My gma use to make a spam stew, which I still like, and I occassionally make spam slices glazed in mustard, and brown sugar. That's one of those things I make late at night when I want something, but just not sure what I want...LOL.

Did some of you enjoy the snow??? I bundled Alyssa up and took her outside to see her first snow. She ran around trying to catch the flakes on her tongue. I tried to get pics but it just wasn't falling hard enough. Oh well we still enjoyed it...
Bundle up tigers. Its gonna be a chilly night.
Deana- Let me know if you need me early and what I can do.
