12/10/08 07:25 PM #1809     Rebecca Atchison (Welch) I'm disappointed...the most we have had is freezing rain. I don't guess though that it really matters that much to my kids after living in Oregon. Not to mention we were in Illinois this past February with snow everywhere. Personally though I miss the snow like crazy and wish that it would fall like crazy so I could have a foot or two to build me a big ole snowman:) I hope everyones little people that have never seen snow have the best time ever!!!!! It's magical!

12/10/08 08:44 PM #1811     Vicki Johnson (Patzold) I know I miss the snow too...my sister called me yelling "it's snowing" sorry couldn't help it when I said snowinging, or flurries? She told me to hush it was snow to her....LOL. I miss the snow sooo much, I would love to go sliding...every time we would get our first good snow up in AK, I would find a big empty parking lot. I would drive fast, slam on the breaks, zig zag across the parking lot and pretty much get it out of my system. After that I was good for the season....LOL.

12/11/08 08:35 AM #1813     Jonel Bishop (Lockler) Wasn't the snow fun. Ryan and Chelsea were having a snowball fight with the neighbors. We stockpiled a bunch of snowballs so when Kevin got home late we bombed him good. We had a blast, but that will do us for a while.

12/12/08 01:52 PM #1819     Vicki Johnson (Patzold) I have a story for you all that is going to crack you up as you think our HS days really weren't that bad. I'm really glad we didn't have the internet back in our days. On the other hand makes you mad to think that kids can really be that stupid! So here is how it goes down! We are all familiar with the list that use to go around school back in the day of those who were sluts and dykes and so forth. Well Swansboro is apparently no different, until now! Lauryn showed me a Myspace site (that has now been deleted and apparently the cops are involved) on this page there were different list. Here are the list that were included on this page. Slut List Dyke List Player List Girls who think they are pretty and aren't list Girls who's boyfriends are cheating on them list Like I said we had our list, but at least ours wasn't mass distributed over the internet for all of the world to see. As mean as the whole thing was, I had to laugh. I laughed because I knew all the boys on the player list, I new most the girls on the dyke and slut list, and a few on the other list as well. I also laughed to think Dear Lord do kids really just have nothing better to do with their time? Oh but the biggest kicker to it was when Lauryn came home from school telling me "woo hoo, I didn't make the slut list this year".....LOL. At least she has a sense of humor about the whole thing..this year and last year!

ConsideringI work with the drill team and cheerleaders most of my kids were on that list. I told just think how much time someone has sat there and thought about them, and how important they have made you in their life. I also ask them if it is true and if it isn't why are they getting so upset. Now my kids get upset if they're not on the list. They say, they know there popular if there on that list. They joke about it now.

12/13/08 12:22 PM #1825     Vicki Johnson (Patzold) I really enjoyed watching the webcam, but only so many people can be hooked up to the voice part! I personally hate the voice talk on Yahoo. You can barely understand the people on there talking and it's usually a bad connection. Next time it should be set up where the person types what they are saying, so they can talk to more than one person. People were coming up and talking to Louis, but apparently didn't even realize I was there. I have my webcam hooked back up on my computer again!

12/13/08 01:36 PM #1826     Deana Sampson (Jenkins) I know I should say good afternoon, but I have been sleeping in today as I am tired...LOL I didn't get as many pics as I should have, and that always happens with me when there is a big crowd. I was trying to manage the computer stuff, socialize and have some fun, so one are had to be missed and that was pictures, but I know many others did, so as I get them, I will post them. The webcam experiment worked pretty well. I tried my best to integrate ya V, but it was all new and I did the best with what I had. It was quite noisy in thee, so I know that didn't do so great, but overall, a work in progress. Everyone there seemed to think that was so neat once they realized it wasn't a joke! LOL Louis was digging it completely. Maybe for the next we we can learn how to confrence/add more people and work the kinks out before we get to the next one. I am happy to do it. It was wonderful to see everyone, I wish I had been able to visit so much more. It was so nice to see the fresh faces...Andrea, Russell, Freddie, Tabo, Travis, etc...I was pleasantly surprised at the turnout...all those maybes and no's started walking through the door! It was great! Special thank you's to everyone that helped out, with the donations for charity and the troops. All it takes is a few to start and we can keep it going. Becky and Brenda...LOVE LOVE LOVE. Thanks you so much for EVERYTHING. Becky went above and beyond purchasing more food than she should have...But it was devoured. Thanks again! Now, back to recoup-ing. It was a looong night, but it was a great one! Hope everyone made it home safe, and that a good time was had. Happy Holidays to all. All my love, Deana

I had a great time and am paying for it today with a killer headache. Its not a hangover just stress. V... Sorry I didn't know you were there and I could barely understand Louis because it was so loud. Everyone was so nice and made me feel so welcome. I felt like I was a part of the gang. Does this mean I can go sit in the corner and throw my temper tantrum?....LOL It was cool though to sit there with LJ and telling him who people are and him telling me no, of course then he got proved wrong..LOL. He didn't believe me when I told him that was Raquel...LOL. The only thing that has changed about Julie Hill is her hair! Is it just me or does anyone else think Freddie married out of his league? I keep telling him, she is way to pretty for him, and he must have lied heavily to get her to marry him...LOL. In true Freddie fashion, he thinks she is the one that got the catch...LOL.

I loved talking to LJ...I would have said hey to you V but you weren't hooked up yet and the typing thing was working...that is how I talked with LJ. But I get to talk to you when ever I want to anyways:) And not to seem like I am gossiping with ya V but I think Freddie is just as handsome as his wife is pretty and they make a really lovely couple and they were really nice to chat with! It may be a bit insensitive to say someone married out of their league...in his case I don't think so. Andrea girl it was nice to finally meet you in person!!! Deana...I'm here for ya...if you ever need help with a party I'm in!!! And I loved seeing Kelly from LNA...that was to fun!!! Bren we have gotta get our little ones together to play for sure!!! I wish you lived closer to me! I had a blast hanging out with ya!!!
