Ok I have a question that maybe some of our african-american classmates might be able to shed some light on a subject for me.

Over the past 8 years since I've been bouncing around the country. I have now had 4 different people all of the african-american decent do something, that I have have NEVER had a white, hispanic or asian person do to me. I will have these women ask me if my boobs are real, before I have a chance to answer their hands will be on my boob. The touching has ranged from a simple poke of a finger, to a flat out palm and squeeze. I'm just curious what is up with this? Why do people feel that have permission to touch my breast? It's almost as bad as some people who will walk up to a pregnant person and start rubbing on their belly like they are the happy budda. I just don't get it. Walk past me and put your hand on my arm or back ok, I can deal with that. I just don't get the whole touching my boob thing. I get it, I'm a skinny white girl with big boobs (I don't think I'm that skinny or think their that big, but apparently others do), but seriously people quit groping me!

DANCETOWN.....Hmmmm thanks Becky, I might have to see what I can do...LOL Just kidding.

I was thinking Of airline skating rink. I can book a party for the whole place, they close to the public on Thursday nights for private parties...That would be soooo awesome!

01/24/09 06:44 PM #1925

Rebecca Atchison (Welch)

How fun would that be...I joined the Airline site on FB! I think most of us lived up there:) That would be a blast!!!

01/24/09 06:50 PM #1926

Rebecca Atchison (Welch)

Really V they just wanna feel ya up.....LOL... just kidding:)

No I feel ya on the touchy thing...I didn't like just anybody rubbing my belly or patting me when I was pregnant.

Damn, V. Makes me wanna be a female sometimes, just so i could get away with that without being brought up on charges. I am a Black Man, and I don't think that has anything to do with culture. That is an individual thing. There are probably alot of women and men that would love to touch your breasts, just not bold enough. Hehehe. No disrespect. You probably have to ask those people individually though. Not just put it out there for the masses. Hope that was a little bit helpful.

Deana, that would be great. It could possibly be tied into the Reunion Weekend. I actually spent just as much time at Rainbow, but I know that one is no longer there. I was alot younger when I was going to Rainbow, but hell that is where I learned how to skate. I went with my older sister and all of her friends. I was the tag a long. Airline would be cool though. Talk about memories. As painful and lonely as they may be, it is part of what makes me, me.
That might be a little dangerous though considering our age and some of our fellow classmates' level of fitness and coordination. Hilarious. I hope everyone's health insurance is paid up. We might also think about having a few paramedics with a shit load of ice, bandages, and Motrin on location. Would be great for another lifetime of tear pouring, gut cramping hilarious memories though. I think we should do it. Record it too. We might be able to send it in to one of those TV shows and make some money off of it.

LJ-.....LOL

Well I've talked to several of my darker skinned female friends, after they quit laughing and asking "are you serious?" This is what they had to offer, I have apparently just come across the bolder ones.....LOL. My ex sister in law I think laughed the hardest! She said that maybe I was charmin and was squeezably soft, or they where hoping to bring me to the dark side...LOL. I still personally have no idea. I think I will just have to start being a little quicker and guarding the boobage the next time someone ask me that.

On the note of the skating rink. My father in law thought it would be a good idea for everyone to go skating one time when we were home. My husband apparently lived at the skating rink and jumper right back into it. He was skating backwards and doing spins like he was born with wheels on his feet. I on the other hand was a little bit of a different story. I came off the floor and for some reason grabbed ahold of the edge of a pool table. I had done that a thousand times as a kid. This time though, I went under the table scrapping my shin along the bottom edge of the table...OMG it hurt! I took about a 1 inch chunk of skin off and bleed. I actually still have the scar. I think if I was to ever go skating again I would hurt for a week.

I am sooooo excited to go skating....I figure if I can suffer thru the iceskates for my kids, which I had no idea how to do unitl recently. I can brave it thru the rollerskates:) It's well worth the pain for an evening of fun with old friends....besides who actaully skated back in the day???? I think the only time I put on skates was for the speed skate...it was much cooler just to walk around!

Okay... Its time for another one of my episodes of TIGERS ROAR!!!
Alright my friends... Help me out here. I found condoms in Codi's wallet. I was getting his clothes ready for the wash and they fell out of his wallet. Not one but three. We have had the sex talk several times. I have a feeling his Dad gave them to him. I'm glad he wants to be responsible. I just hope nothing has happened and he just has it as a precaution. I don't want to blow up at him when he gets home. I am going to try to be calm. I just pray he is making the right decisions. I pray that he hasn't had sex yet. His girlfriend is younger then him and she is a very sweet girl. I hope their friends are not pressuring them.

Help me out here tigers. I need your input...
Thanks

Ask Dad if he gave them to him first. I know men have different ideas about teens having sex sometimes when it comes to their sons. The protection and NO WAY syndrome kicks in with their girls. They seem to be less protective with their sons.

Y aknow Bren it's funny you bring this up because I pick up my boys, my niece and a neighbor girl every day after school. And my niece Taelyn got in the truck today and siad that they had a debate in History today over 2 subjects, Immigration and then abortion. She said she was n the side of being for it, but not because she would actually do it but because she felt every woman had the right to choose for herself and wanted to know what I thought. I actaully agreed with her because I feel the same...never in a million years would I ever choose it for myslef but I don;t think it's my place to decide for someone else. But I took it a step futher and explained the responsibilty of not being sexualy active at a young age as well as being responsible for your actions once you are sexually active so that you aren't in a situation where you have put yourself in a situationwhere you would have to consider an abortion. I have 3 older boys 18, and the twins almost 16. Have we bought condoms for our oldest son, YES, not to encourage it but to prevent other situations. I don't agree with it but I can't hold his hand every day and hoe he does the right thing. Matthew has one but I think it's more a cool thing for him. Especially since he is not allowed to have a girl friend with out permission from us. Even at that I would rather he have it than not. Robert has autism so while he understands alot of things I am not yet to the point of worrying about his activities. I just constantly preach the importance of waiting for marriage, I know that may seem silly to some but I was never a sleep around person and I am truly proud of that and I think that is one of the main qualities my husband loves in me...I want the same thing for my kids and I don't think it's to much to hope for. Maybe I am just old fashion who knows but just in case they aren't I want my kids to also be prepared. Oh and my oldest Nikki a girl...dated only 3 guys in school and at 20 almost 21 is just now married and expecting her first child. And yes I had her on the pill long before she was ever sexually active as well as condoms in her purse because no offense guys but peer pressure is a bitch and guys do their best to be persuasive! I wanted her to be prepared as well! And she was and has no regrets about it! Hope it helps Bren but just talk to him and keep open communications and let him know you famiy values and expectations on girls!
