I've been making alot of arrangements. Gonna get alot more work done on the websites. Please bear with me as there is so much going on these days that I can't think straight....LOL..

Louis if you are out there, Please call me again at your convenience...I have been working like crazy and haven't had proper time to return calls.

I wanted to do the sunday goodbye brunch at the high school, and they charge you a rental fee!!!!!!!! Can you beleive that crap? WOW.
So i am waiting to see what this magical number is. HISD has bumped their head!!!!!

Next thing, I want to get us t-shirts for the events. We need financial donations, as much as possible. We are ordering 100. I have a wonderful person willing to give us the difference in what we need up front, but I'd like to alleviate as much of that as possible for him. It's quite generous and he will be reimbursed promptly once shirts are sold that weekend.
So please, let me know what you can do.

Rina Peavy (Hightower) Deanna Hi, this is Rina I can buy some hotdogs and buns. I want a T-shirt and the size is 2x. Saddly to say I will not be able to come to the class reunion I will be on my family vacation the week of June 20th thru 28th. If we come in early I will try my best to make the weekend event, I know everybody will have a great time.

Deana Sampson (Jenkins) Ok guys. I am frustrated. Deussen Park is not available for a rental in June. Booked solid. I am trying to find another park. Mary Jo Peckham Park is a no as well. Any ideas? I am ready to throw in the towel. I am just feeling quite kicked in the but right now.

Vicki Johnson (Patzold) I love Mercer! I took my engagement photos there, and back in HS Robbie Nutt and I were going to do a photo shoot there, but it was rained out and we never did reschedule it.

Deana Sampson (Jenkins) Looks as if it just may be Mercer. It just happens to be the easiest and it's free if it works out. We just aren't able to decorate with balloons...small rules live that since there is wildlife there. this sound okay with you guys???

Vicki Johnson (Patzold) Deana-I think it's a great idea. It is absolutely beautiful there. Not really a place kids can run around at, but there are plenty of beautiful flowers to use as back drops for LOTS of pictures. Also if people just want to take a stroll and talk the paths are quiet and a great way for people to do some one on one catch up time away from the crowd and noise.

Deana Sampson (Jenkins) I think we have it. I will call to make sure today. Everything else that is sizeable is already rented. It's this or taking our chances getting a first come first serve location. That is just too difficult. There is a playground right at the pavillion we have. It seats 80 people but we can encourage everyone to bring chairs, just in case.

Vicki Johnson (Patzold) SWANSBORO HIGH SCHOOL LADY PIRATES SOCCER IS GOING TO STATE. We won the regional finals today and will go on to play for the state title on Saturday May 30th at North Carolina State University. Go Pirates!!

Whew.
On to the next thing...

There is no deposit necessary here, but we do need to raise funds to pay for a DJ. The cost is $300.00

I understand these financial times are bleak for many of us. Please do not feel as if I am asking that of everyone, if anyone understands, you know I do. So if anyone out there can pitch in for this, it would be greatly appreciated.

The check I promised you is in the mail! I am so proud of all the Swansboro Girl Soccer Players! It was a very long and bumpy ride, but worth every nail bitting, head about to burst moment.

Deana Sampson (Jenkins) Does anyone have any memorabilia from high school we can display? Pom-Poms-Flags, Uniforms, Panoramic Class Photo, Yearbook, Etc? Anything is welcome If you have any pics, send them now. Is there anyone out there that can help put together a slide show and have the equipment for that?
