Axtell, Clyde Robert III. The Axtell family grieves with the passing of our beloved Bob on June 8 2014. Born in Hattiesburg Mississippi in February 1943, he died at his home in Tucson Arizona after many years of declining health. He is survived by his wife Lois Axtell of Tucson, his mother Agnes Axtell of San Antonio, his brother Kelly Axtell of Ruidoso New Mexico and his two sisters Jamie Axtell Rochelle of Kingsland Texas and Jody Axtell Whitcomb of Dallas Texas. Bob had special talent as an electronics design engineer for a great many diverse clients. He spent many years in the Silicon Valley area where he built his company Elecon, a business dedicated to testing devices and engineering needed by leading edge developers there. At the time of his death he was working for a solar energy manufacturer based in Tucson.
