Presently I am the Corporate Director of Facilities for BAKER HUGHES and the Manager of Facilities for BAKER OIL TOOLS Worldwide. I am responsible for Facilities Planning, Maintenance and Construction/Renovation Project mobilization and execution for Baker Hughes and serve as the Director of Western Hemisphere Strategic Sourcing. I am an Internationally Certified and Licensed Facility Manager, Licensed Environmental Professional, Licensed Professional Contractor and Degreed in Architectural Design/Engineering. I sit on the Board of the International Facilities Advisory Group. I presented Honorary Papers and lectured to the International European Conference in Manchester England and to the International Facilities Manager Association in Denver Colorado.

My responsibilities include constant updates of the current years plan, the 5 and 10 year Plan and presenting innovative strategies to the CFO, CEO and International Corporate Vice President of Real Estate for Baker Hughes.

Favorite pastimes: Taking my gorgeous wife dancing and playing video games with my Grand children.

Some members' advocacy activities have been like second professions. We would like to know of those heartfelt interests.

Artist. Have been a selling artist for 30 years. Racquet ball, working out, golf, reading.

Tell us about your life?

Very interesting. Have traveled all over the world including Middle East, Far East, Europe and all the Americas. Purchased a Motorcycle when I was 18 and spent the year cruising the European continent and England. Way to many adventurers to even begin to reminisce about, might write a book someday.

Lived in Canada for a while, (extremely cold), and spent a great deal of time in the Banff area and did a lot of cross country skiing and downhill skiing. Don't downhill ski anymore, just got tired of the injuries. Presented Honorary papers and lectured in Manchester England to the International Board - about 5,000 professionals in 2008. I was offered the CEO position in Kuwait of a corporation owned by the Royal Family, but declined due to extreme cultural differences and the impact on our personal lives in relation to family and our Grandchildren. Kuwait is a very different place and culture.

Presently reside in Houston, Texas and work for Baker Hughes, the company that was owned by Howard Hughes.

June and I enjoy going to the Caribbean, the Netherlands, London, Alaska and especially love Amsterdam and have enjoyed Paris several times. My favorite moment in Paris, June thinks this is funny, besides Versaille, and the Louvre; my favorite is visiting Jim Morrison's grave (The Doors)...the cemetery is over 800 years old, and covers at least 20 city blocks in Paris. His grave site is visited by 1.4 Million people per year and is under survelliance 24/7. It was a very interesting experience, especially around twilight when the dogs come to visit Jim Morrisons grave, as they have done every night since his death.

June and I are going to the Caribbean again in May of 2013 and chill out for about a week or so.

Hello...we left Gruene in 2005. We had a Bed and Breakfast there, The Gruene Cliff Bed and Breakfast, sold it , and it is now called the Gruene River Inn, just down from the dance hall...its a great big cedar structure. June and I designed it, built it and managed it from 2000 to 2005.
