After High School I spent 3.5 years in the Air Force then graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Fl in Dec 1972. Went to work for McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis, MO in Jan 1973 and transferred to Mesa, AZ in May 1986. McDonnell Douglas was bought out by Boeing and I retired from Boeing in May 2007 after 35 years. I did join the Air National Guard with fellows I worked with in St. Louis and retired a Major after 22 years. One of the best things I did to help out my retirement years.

I lost my wife of 38 years to cancer in Sept 2009.

I played lots of slow pitch softball and golf until I hurt my back. Now it is fly fishing in my retirement years.

I volunteer several days a month at an elementary school Flight Service Training Center. Put 5th & 6th graders through a helicopter flight simulator.

Nov 2016 spent 11 days in Cuba on a fly fishing trip. Had 3 days in Havana to tour the city. Good trip. In 2017 going to Belize on a fly fishing trip.

Terrible basketball player but better at baseball. I did pitch the first no hitter for the Westbury baseball team.
