"Chuck"

RETIRED----After mornin' coffee, put the pup's outside for a round of chasing the tennis ball, peeing here and there then they chase squirrels. I then walk to my new work across the yard to my new shop where I load some ammo, fix some guns and do some electronics. Afterwards if I'm not too worn out I may go to the range to do some shootin'.

Work with Special needs kids when my ankles allow me. I still try to do this every chance I can. We can learn alot from these kids. Nature photog nut. I like shootin' my guns, my pets and purdy girls too but usually ends up pets.
My best two memories of all were Kay's soft lips then her soft voice, funny laugh and cute toosh.

Climbing the water tower and putting your name outside the hatch. Racing up and down Chimmny Rock, getting caught in "Rabbitsville"and rollin' a house then getting caught.

Who remembers Rabbitsville? What happened to or mascot "Johnny Reb"? Our flag and mascot would not be appreciated at Westury today.

Not much but just a hard worker now enjoying life. The best part is spending my kids inheritance.
I have many wonderful friends from Westbury, Houston and here now in Cow Town. The good Lord blessed me with many, many wonderful friends. Westbury was a legend in our lives. No child today or in the past 25 years will live such wonderful lives as we did at Westbury High. We were the best.

I recently came back from Newport News, VA to visit my old Ship the USS Enterprise CVAN-65. I was able to take my son to show him the Big "E". He was amazed at her size. I tried to show him all the places I worked and more explaining how everything worked. How the times were spent on the flight deck under 24/7 flight-ops in Vietnam. While we were aboard I was approached by some of her "LAST" crew members for some questions about my time aboard. Then I was told the "BIG E" is headed to her final cruse to Oregon where she will be dismantled and put to rest. She will not be sunk but recycled to build the NEW Enterprise the CVN-80.
