Care giver?
Man, the light at the end of the tunnel is a train thing never fit a situation better than that one. I didn't really know you but remember you had a lot of hart and a lot of drive. The care giver fight is not easy but you have what it takes. It may not mean much now but when you finally do win that one you can honestly say you paid for the right to the life you were given. That carries some heavy pride with it & it doesn't fade. Good luck to ya & happy birthday.
Glade to hear it! You were one of the best people. Hope life has rewarded you for the personality a person like yours truly deserves.

Hi Mary.
Can't believe I was still hooked up to this site but just got your new member joining Email. Congradulations.I don't believe I knew you much. I was a skinny long haired kid that rode a motor bike. Got a good horse story for you. This just happened 2 weeks ago.
I had a neighbor neglecting the hell out of a horse on an investment property. After feeding her for the last couple months and running an ad on craigslist I finally gave the horse to some people without seeing their place first but had their TDL info. I went there the next day and found the people had lied about the property. There was no land for the horse and they had her in a metal pen that would have been death warmed over in the summer if she lasted that long. The place looked like it could have been some sort of animal meat business. I called my neighbor that originally had the horse and told him if the sheriff's dept called to tell them I gave his horse away without his consent. Then I called the new owners and told them I had to pick her up. And sure enough it wasn't till I explained that now that they knew the horse was stolen they would be considered accessories before they said OK. I couldn't take her back to my parcel because of fencing, so I hired a woman to train her. It was pricey, but it was the going rate or better and it bought me 30 days to figure something out. That done, I rented a trailer and headed for Baytown TX.. Horse loaded, we head to Willis TX.The up side was the trainer had told me her sister had a son that might want her. We get there and boom. The horse has hit the lottery! The place was a real 30 acre ranch and the horse barn was a horse mansion. 40' X 80' X 20' high with patterned concrete down the center & built to the hilt!
The boy meets the horse and they hit it off like it was somehow in this horse's destiny. HOME RUN!
We drove back to Houston celebrating the horse's win and ours for not giving up on finding it for her. 2 days later they sent a video. The boy had her walking on a lead already and you could see the happiness in the horse's gate from the attention and the chance to earn her place on the new team. UNBELIEVABLE!
These guys changed this horse's life & I'd like to repay the favor. If you know people that need horse care or training. These guys know what their doing.
The place is called Semper Fi Ranch. http://semperfiranch.weebly.com/
