Hello fellow Wildcats. In less than 3 weeks we will be having our 30 year reunion for Westchester's Class of 1980 at Hotel Sorella on June 26. Lots of folks have been working hard to ensure the event is fun and memorable. If you have not done so already, I would like to encourage you to send in your registration as soon as possible. It will be a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with old friends and catch up with classmates.
Many of you will be converging on Houston from numerous places out of town and out of state. With this in mind, Mike Weaver and I thought it would be a good idea to have an informal gathering on Friday evening at a venue close to the location of Saturday night's big event, similar to the 20 year reunion. So, starting at 6:00 on Friday, June 25 we will be meeting at Straits Restaurant, which is adjacent to Hotel Sorella in City Centre (formerly Town & Country Shopping Center). The address is 800 W Sam Houston Pkwy N, Houston, TX 77024. As an added treat Mike Weaver has talked them into extending happy hour prices until 8:00. If you're around stop on by and say hi.
