Its been fun so far. Carolyn and I were married in 1989 after a three year courtship. I've worked primarily in the maritime industry starting with the US Navy just out of college. I've tried other occupations; chemical broker, customs broker, disc jockey,...hell, I even ran off and became a commercial pilot (airplanes) for about 8 years, but the water kept calling me back.
Twenty years later Carolyn and I are still married and have four kids, the eldest of which is graduating from St. Tomas High School this year (2010). My eldest daughter attends Duchesne Academy up in Houston. The younger two go to private schools in League City. As you might have guessed, I'm not only proud of them but just plain smug about it. I can get annoying about it sometimes so you have to stop me.
So, now days, I live down in Dickinson in a not too bad a neighborhood...not too nice a neighborhood, either. I like my neighbors and my kids are safe playing down the street. I never got rich and I never changed the world. But, I've got change enough to buy you a drink and enough time to sit and talk.
