***Our Next Get Together - 2025***

After careful deliberation (and a few naps in between), we've decided to hit pause on our 42nd high school gathering.

Apparently, life still has a way of keeping us on our toes—or maybe we’re just more into cozy socks these days.

Fear not, fellow classmates! We'll regroup, recharge, and hopefully reunite next year with all our legendary stories and dance moves intact.

Stay tuned for details, and keep practicing those moves... just in case.

***Weekend Recap - 2023***

WHEN: Friday, October 13^th, 2023 @7pm

WHERE: Tully Stadium (Mustangs versus Cypress Ridge)

RECAP: The Mustangs played the Cy-Ridge Rams, and the good guys came out on top 44 to 14. The team is now 4-0 in district play. Although not many signed up to attend the game, we had a rather large group that actually came to the game. The Class of 82 got a shout-out from the PA Announcer and a standing ovation from the crowd. Would you expect anything less? Hanging out, cheering on, and watching Mustang football on a great October evening brought back great memories.

Once the outcome of the game was not in question, we decided to take off after the third quarter but wanted to continue the fun as a group. We discussed going to The Mason Jar, Spoons, Yukatan Liquor Stand, and Boardwalk Beach Club (among others). The Boardwalk Beach Club was the unanimous winner, so off we went! Upon arrival, we were shocked to find out that the BBC had not been in business in some 30+ years. It was late, past most of our bedtimes, so we decided to call it a night.

WHEN: Saturday, October 14^th, 2023 @7pm

WHERE: Cowboy Surfer (827 Frostwood Drive, Houston, Texas 77024)

RECAP: We had a great crowd at Cowboy Surfer, some of whom we saw the night before and many others who were unable to make the football game. It was a great time seeing everyone and catching up from last year, or the last 41 years. What was truly special was seeing classmates who were apprehensive (for one reason or another) about getting together with high school classmates after all these years, only to find out how much they were and are loved. 

The party at the Cowboy was over, but don't we have a party after the party? Hurry, let's throw something together. Does anyone know how to play some music? Does anyone have a music studio and a resort-type setting where we can hang out?

Yes to both and the after-party was on.
