Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2006, at 3:00 p.m., at Beck's Funeral Home, l5709 Ranch Rd 620, Austin, Texas 78717. Memorials may be sent to The Lisa Drury Jewett Memorial Fund at JP Morgan Chase Bank, 16900 R.R. 620, Round Rock, TX 78681. Lisa was born January 17, 1964, in Memphis, Tennessee. Her family moved to Houston, Texas, where she graduated from Memorial High School in 1982. She attended Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University) where she met her future husband, John, and one of her closest friends, Mary Ellen Jewett (now Stafford), her future sister-in-law. Lisa graduated with a degree in education. She married John C. Jewett on December 30, 1988, in Houston, Texas. John and Lisa made their home in Austin, Texas, where their two daughters, Elizabeth and Patricia were born in 1994 and 1996 respectively. Lisa was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. She loved entertaining, cooking, traveling, her many cats, and laughing with friends and family. Lisa was preceded in death by her mother, Judy Muhl Drury and her mother-in-law, Patricia Byrne Jewett. Lisa is survived by her husband John, her daughters Elizabeth and Patricia of Austin; her father Stephen Drury and his wife Carole of Payson, Arizona; her sisters Christina Drury Monti and husband Daniel of Los Angeles, California; by Lynn Drury Allen, her husband Platt, and their two daughters, Claire and Madelon, of Fort Worth, Texas; her father- in-law Robert and Henrietta Jewett of Pont Vedra Beach, Florida; her sister-in-law Mary Ellen Jewett Stafford and husband John and their children, John, Julia, Jordan, Jackson, Jeb, Jillian, Jude of Independence, Kansas.
