WATERLOO -- Jeffery J. “Jeff” Francis, 50, of Waterloo, formerly of Hudson, died at Covenant Medical Center Thursday, Jan. 16, of natural causes.

He was born Aug. 23, 1963, in Iowa City, son of Gerald and Blanche Miles Francis. He married Bonnie Schoepske, and they later divorced. 

Mr. Francis graduated from Hudson High School in 1983. He worked for Area Builders for many years, Cardinal Construction, and most recently Green Line Polymers.

Survived by: a daughter, Carena Flaig; three siblings, Debbie (Steve) Conaway of Waterloo, and Kelly Francis and Glenda Francis, both of Elk Run Heights; four stepchildren, Tony (Tara) Schoepske of Marion, Nicole (Adam) Schiel of Tripoli, Kelly Roby of Waterloo and Erica (Travis) Wiese of Platteville, Wis.; and 12 grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: his parents and grandparents.
