Lori A. English
Lori Ann English was born in Cedar Falls on July 6, 1965, the daughter of Mary Ann and Richard E. Lindeman. Lori was raised in Hudson and graduated from the local high school with the class of 1983. She then attended the University of Northern Iowa and earned a degree in accounting. Lori went to the Des Moines area in the early 1990s and was employed with Principal Financial Group. Loris attention to detail was helpful to her throughout her life and career. Her other passion was her church. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines and also was in the choir, and she was deeply involved in her missionary work in Jamaica. She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior early in her life, and she grew in faith throughout her life. Her mission was to get others to join her in faith. She was currently planning her August wedding to Tom Torpy, and they were enjoying the creation of their new home and life together
