Hello Hug Hawks, Class of 84!
Our 40 Year Reunion is being held August 16-18, 2024! We have several events planned to allow ample time for visiting and catching up with each other!! The cost for the weekend is $40 +platform fees if registered by July 21st. The price will increase to $45 +platform fees July 22 - August 4, and $50 +platform fees August 5-11. After August 11, it will be $60 pay at the door. So be sure to register early!
The weekend will begin on Friday, August 16 as we gather at The Little Waldorf Saloon (1661 N Virginia St, Reno, NV 89503) from 5-9 PM. Each person will be responsible for purchasing their own food and drinks.
Saturday, August 17, Jason Aytes, Assistant Principal @ Hug, will be providing a tour of the new Hug High campus at 11 AM for all who are interested (anyone is welcome at this event). The address is 3530 Sullivan Lane, Sparks, NV 89431.
On Saturday, August 17, we will host a Multi-Class Gathering at 3790 Tasha Court, Reno, NV 89503 from 4-9 PM. This is a Vrbo rental that allows events. There is limited room available for those wishing to lodge at the residence ($150/night x3 nights, Fri - Sun nights). If interested, please reach out via the "Contact Us" tab at the top right of the page. We invite Hug alumni from any year as well as faculty and staff to join us for this event. For Class of 84 members, this event is included in the cost for the weekend. For other class years and faculty/staff, the cost of this event is $25. The main course and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. Alcoholic beverages are BYOB.
We will close out the weekend by gathering for brunch on Sunday, August 18 back at 3790 Tasha Court, Reno, NV 89503 at 10 AM.
The cutoff to register online is August 13. After that, it will be the pay-at-the-door price of $60/person.
If you prefer to pay via Paypal, we do have a class business account set up and can accept funds that way. Shoot us a message via the "Contact Us" tab and we'll send you a link for payment.
We are also collecting donations to create a scholarship for a student(s) who wishes to pursue further education at a technical/trade/vocational school upon graduation from Hug. You may contribute at the time of registration, or at any other time, including at the event.
