At initial posting, we had no details on Scott’s passing. Scott did not have a class photo but this is a photo from the team photo on the varsity football team.
Having looked up some information, we found:
Son of Gordon and Carleen Hjelmstrom. Husband of Teresa (Pagnanelli) Hjelmstrom
I am shocked that there are not more comments under Scott's name! Scott, considering how "cool" he was, was also a kind person and was friendly towards everyone, breaking those rigid teenage pecking order protocals. He was so high up the ladder, he could do anything, and it was still cool.
I have the feelings, but not the words so I will stop here.
I agree with Louis Meyers! This guy was a MANS' man.He was one of the first football players to join Theater and actually be in plays ON STAGE.I'll never forget being asked to provide security at a football party. While I was trying to come to the aid of a guy being picked on. The bully turned on me and Scott jumped in to talk some sense into the guy.I T WORKED. Potential tragedy was averted. Typical of a man of Scotts caliber.
