Attended Marshall and received an AB & MA in Art/English. Married Steve in July, 1973. Began teaching in Lincoln County in 1973. Taught Art countywide for 7 years and then taught English at Hamlin High School for 23 years retiring in 2005. My career in education was interrupted for 2 years (1993-95) when we managed 4 H&R Block offices while living in Beaufort, SC.
