After graduation, I went to Vanderbilt with many of our classmates and continued to be best of friends with Lauren Burlison and Katie Proctor. I kept up with lot of friends at Alabama, Auburn and Birmingham Southern. My social schedule was curbed slightly by 4 years of medical school at UAB. Life was then consumed by 7 years of residency at Vanderbilt and UT in Memphis to complete my plastic surgery training. I took a little break to marry Jim Maske, from Selma, in the middle of residency and on the night of our ten year reunion. Life has settled sown a little and we have been in Atlanta for four years now where our three year old daughter, Emma Stewart, and our two year old son, JD were born. I work part time in a big group, Atlanta Plastic Surgery, and truly love my job. I love being a mommy more but certainly think it is much more difficult. Jim works for Goldman Sachs and is often in Huntsville on business.I have remained best friends with Lauren, Katie and Elizabeth Beason and Lady Vowell and I see them on a regular basis. I still miss Amanada Taylor and remain thankful for all the time we spent together especially the year before her death.
I cannot wait until July to catch up with everyone else - we love coming back to Huntsville and it truly makes me miss living there.
