After graduating HHS and touring both the SEC and ACC (as my dad likes to put it) I finally graduated from UCF. Thanks to Kellie Landon Hauenstein I'd applied for the College Program at Walt Disney, been accepted, gone, loved it, and stayed. Jay and I began dating again while I was living down there. I moved home after I graduated and we were married the next spring.
I was in pharmaceutical sales in Birmingham until our daughter was born at which time I stayed home and Jay's job began moving us around a bit. We went to Augusta and then to Indianapolis (where Jake was born) and finally back to Huntsville and the same neighborhood where we both grew up and both sets of grandparents still live. I've stayed home most of that time with the kids but drug repped part-time in Indy and here for a few months until I quit for good. I went back to school part-time---had to work around mother's morning out with kids-- for what seemed like forever to get my nursing degree from UAH. I FINALLY graduated again and am now working in the surgical ICU and loving it!
