I can't believe it's been 20 years- seems like only yesterday!
Right now, I am a SAHM(Stay at home Mom)! My oldest daughter, Savannah, is in 6th grade @ HMS! She is on the HMS softball team- funny, we didn't have softball @ HMS all those years ago! My twins, Jackson and Maddie Grace, are in kindergarten @ Blossomwood! My youngest daughter, Mary Caroline, hangs out with me @ home! Last, but not least,is my husband Robbie! Robbie graduated from HHS in 1991 and works for a company out of Stapleton, AL(Virginia Wrecking, Inc.) doing demolition work. Strangely enough, this is the company that did the demolition work on the old HHS! Robbie literally got to tear down the school! He also brought home some neat memorabilia! We have some old bricks, an old baseball uniform, an atheletic bag, and an old basketball uniform(warm-up)! We did have two basketball warm-up's, but one belonged to Charles Anderson, the older brother of Chris Anderson. So, we let Chris's parents have it. It's pretty neat to have these things from our old stomping grounds!
It's still sad to me to see where our school used to sit, now sits a soccer field and a parking lot! But that's progress! The new HHS is pretty enough, but I wonder, how much character does it really have????
Hope to see you all in July!!
