It has been great reading everyone's comments and seeing all the pictures! I'm inspired to add to my profile.

I went to Randolph-Macon Woman's College in Lynchburg, VA and majored in Communication. Afterward, I traveled to Dubois, WY and worked on a dude ranch for four months. I was a "cabin girl" (nice way of saying "maid") and a wrangler. It was incredible to be out west in that gorgeous, seemingly never-ending land and sky, and now in times of great stress--frequent while raising my three and four year old childrenI dream of moving our family out there and living in a hut, growing my own food, away from everything. Of course, the fact that I would rather stay in a Ritz Carlton or not travel at all coupled with the fact that I can't even keep a fern alive complicate this dream, but I guess that speaks to the incredible allure of the country out west. Anyway...

Not sure what I wanted to do after procrastinating in Wyoming, I moved to Massachusetts to experience snow on a regular basis in the winter. I thought that was a good reason to go at the time. I do miss the snow, but not the fact that, unlike here, the entire town didn't shut down when it happened. I still had to get in my car and drive 15 miles to work every day, and I was terrible at driving in the snow and ice. Thank goodness the only time I wrecked no other people were involved, only a giant, snow-covered boulder. It seemed to scream at me to hit it, so I did. I headed back south after about one and a half years. My jobs up north included working at a pizza place and for a sign company responsible for creating and installing signs for Finast and Edwards grocery stores in the Northeast. I really knew how to put my college degree to good use!

I lived in Charlotte, NC, Atlanta, GA and Vestavia, AL before settling down here in Huntsville again. I never thought I'd consider coming back. It wasn't until I realized I was pregnant for the second time and my first baby was only six months old that changed my mind.

The best part of being back has been reconnecting with oldI mean PAST, did I say OLD?friends and getting to know them again, and often their children too. I look forward to seeing many more former classmates at the reunion!
