Julie Van Valkenburgh Lockwood

After graduation, I went onto attend Birmingham-Southern College and roomed with Jill Warren.

A year out of college I married my college sweetie, Robert Lockwood, from Macon, Georgia. I got my real estate license during my sophomore year of college and would sell homes during the summer. After Robert and I got married, we moved to Tuscaloosa. Robert went to Law School and I sold and leased condos at Riverbend Condominiums on Rice Mine Road.

We were there for 3 years and then moved home to Hunts-vegas. I work with my family real estate firm, Van Valkenburgh & Wilkinson REALTORS, and Robert works with a law firm, Wilmer and Lee PA. Two kids and several years later, here we still are.

I can remember Richard Coon busting into Betty Dinwiddie's class screaming B!D! She would grin, while standing in her 1960's gogo boots (that are back in style now!);
Standing on the top of some rickety ladder painting the senior wall with a ton of people listening to R.E.M.; Math Analysis with Gonzo.
