I graduated in 1994 from University of South Alabama - Communications and Criminal Justice. My first real career was with Aerotek as a Corporate Recruiter and Account Executive for Option One. I was there almost 4 years. Then I pursued a career as a Pharmaceutical rep for 3 years. In May 2004 I married the love of my life, Steve Lucy who is from Fort Payne, AL. We moved to Fort Payne shortly after we married and I went to work at AmSouth Bank. We then moved to Jeffersonville, IN basically the Louisville, Ky area or as they all term it there- Kentuckiana area in June 2006. I went to work for PNC Bank as a Private Client Banker. My husband was an interim youth pastor for awhile and then an Administrative director for YouthBuild - not-for profit organization that mentors inner-city youth in West Louisville. We tried to have children for 4 years and I miscarried in mid 2008. However, God had different plans for us and opened the door to adopt a newborn where we lived in the later part of 2008. God answered our prayers with our first born son Samuel Steve through the wonderful miracle of adoption. Samuel means God hears and he heard our prayers! In 2009 when I became a stay at home mom, I was finally able to relax from the corporate grind. I got pregnant to our surprise in September of 2009. We also got the opportunity to move back to Alabama near our parents when Steve was called to pastor Ivalee Baptist Church in Attalla, AL in Jan 2010. Sarah Grace was born June 17, 2010. I love being back home near our parents and I love the area where we live. I went to Camp Sumatanga when I was a teen and it is a special place for me and just about ten minutes away from where we live. God has truly blessed Steve and me in so many ways. I recently went back to work from home as a Long Term Care & Life Insurance Agent appointed with Genworth Financial. I am also very invloved at my church as the prayer and facebook coordinator. I enjoy working with the Youth as well I am very thankful for my husband and our two kids Samuel and Sarah Grace. They are growing up so quick and they are a blessling to me every day.
