Stephanie Davis (Stiltner)

I haven't received as many responses as I had thought I would. Of course, a lot of people haven't registered on the site and don't even know about the get-together. I'm still trying to decide whether to do it in May or if we'd have a better turnout if we wait until next year (since it was only August when we last saw everyone). What do you (and anyone else reading this) think??

Hey everyone, Craig, Chris and my grandmother passed away last night. She had been in Johnson City the week prior for a broken leg, had a heart attack and stroke while in the hospital. She was moved to the nursing facility in Phelps for rehab on her leg. She was fine at 10 and at 11 she was gone. Some of you will know her. Her name was Mable Allen Prater. Her service will be Wednesday and Thursday at 7 at Union Light- Paw Paw and she will be buried beside my dad on Friday. My dad has been gone for 19 years.

Please don't put off things you feel you need to do today. My sister and I were going to visit Mamaw this weekend.

I'd love to get together with you all in May. Keep in touch.

Hi all,
I am so sorry to hear about your mamaw. You are so right about putting things off... we all do it, but we should not let anything come before our families and friends...
i will be thinking of you.

i will be out of town all next week for business in texas and am really upset about it... my baby has a thing at school on monday that i will miss :( i have the mommy blues about it - brian is going to tape it for me... i envy those mommies that get to stay home with their babies...

i am ready for our may get together, if i need to do anything, please let me know.

i hope everyone is doing good and your families too.
brian and i have been trying to juggle basketball and wrestling with jake, keeps us busy.

Stephanie Davis (Stiltner) Pam, Craig & Chris: So sorry to hear about your grandmother. Yes, we are all guilty of putting things off until its too late. It takes something like this to happen in order to get a reality check. I'm going to attempt to get letters out about the May meeting soon. For those of you that I have email addresses for, I will just email the letter to you to save on postage.

Norma Vanover (Smith) Hi to all, Pam I would realy love a copy of the class. I have alot of everyones senior pictures but alot I don't have as well. I just wished I had purchased one.... I am glad everyone is doing good. As for me and my family we are doing great. If you have the gathering in May I will be there... Love all, Norma

I will be mailing letters next week to the classmates that I do not have email addresses to contact them. If you do run into any of them, please let them know about the event.

Stephanie Davis (Stiltner) Our love and prayers go out to Craig Hurley and his family. Craig's nephew/adopted brother, Brandon (17), was killed in a car accident this week. If anyone is in the area, I'm sure he would appreciate it if you could stop by the church. The services will be at Henry Estep's church at Paw Paw. Thursday and Friday nights at 7 and Saturday at 1.

Janella Estep (Holland) Hey, didn't know how many of you all may already know this, but I just heard that Mrs. Fayetta Phillips passed away. My Mom told me that she saw the obit in the Va. Mountaineer this week. I think I remember at one time she had breast cancer, but that was a long time ago, (I may be wrong, but it seems that she did.)

Pam Allen (Bast) I hate to be the bearer of bad news again...but Kim Justus...pretty Kim, Ms. Rockhouse, class of 87 passed away this morning. Grundy Funeral Home is in charge of the services.

Stephanie Davis (Stiltner) Teresa and I went to Kim Justus' wake service last night. We ran into people that we hadn't seen in 20+ years. It was really good to see everyone but not under those circumstances. Please remember Chris and Christine in your prayers.
