Alrena (Renny) Justice Hostetler

After High School, I did as most of us did and went to HCC until January 5, 1980. Then I married Scott Kirmer and we moved to San Diego CA. Scott was stationed in the Navy. When he was deployed to Diego Garcia in 1991, I returned and received my AA in 1981 in education. We had two children together, Nichole born 1983 and Keith born 1984. Scott and I divorced in 1989. After working in several day care centers and a TA at Buhler Grade School I realized I was definitely in the wrong field. I went to work at Paganica Country Club in 1985 as an office Manager and thus began my career to become an accountant. In 1992 I married my husband, John, who is a graduate of Buhler High School and got his Bachelor Degree from WSU. He had two children from his first marriage, Holden born 1986 and Jordan born 1990. Yes, we have the Brady Bunch thing going for us! We moved from Kansas to Southlake TX (a suburb of Dallas/Ft. Worth) in 2000. Nichole married Shane in 2017 and had their first son, Oliver, in July 2018 and next came Everett in May 2020. In May of 2020 their second son, Everett, was born. They are living in Jacksonville Texas now and she is enjoying raising her family and being a stay-home mom. Keith had a daughter, Hailey in 2007. He is active in the Army Reserve and for the past two years in the wounded warrior program for a chronic back injury. His daughter, Hailey, lives with us full time. Wow! What a difference raising a teenager in my 60's versus 30's! LOL! Holden is a product design manager at Bioworld Merchandising in Dallas. Jordan is currently a National Account Manager at Echo Global Logistics. He is engaged to Kalah Blackenship and we are looking forward to welcoming her to our family in the near future. I am currently retired, but helping to raise our granddaughter Hailey as her dad still gets moved around a lot. Hailey is a freshman at Carroll Senior High in Southlake. John owns his own consulting firm (ProVision Today) and after surviving covid and the shut-down of travel to China, is enjoying working from home full time. We were lucky enough to get to renew our marriage vows after 30 years with our family as witnesses in Cabo San Lucas summer of 2022! We love to travel and visiting Europe (Germany, England, Italy, France), Indonesia (Bali, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore)
I lost my dad, Dan Justice, in 2017 and mom, Betty, followed in 2020, just a few short years later. My sisters are still in the Kansas City area together and we try to see them as much as possible. We lost our oldest son Keith on 11/04/2024. He served 22+ years in the US Army. After cronic back pain for several years and numerous surgeries to try and heal the situation, he was called home much too early.
