I haven't seen many of our classmates since moving to Salina in 1979. (Other than at the last 2 reunions.)It was very sad to see so many of our friends are no longer with us. Like several others in our class, I too was involved in two serious accidents. Fortunately, other than a couple of surgeries and about a year off work, I am doing well. I like Jeff Frye, have a child that I'm convinced is going to be a career student. Jason (28) spent 5 years at Ft. Hays State. He is now in his 6th year (Yes, thats 11 total) at the Univ. of Iowa. He says he will finish up and recieve his doctorate this year. He will then be a professor (what else) so he can still be in school. Derek (23) lives in Salina and works for a landscaping business. No grandchildren yet. Don't have much time for relaxing, as I work 3 jobs. Fed-Ex is my main job. I also work for Frito Lay and the Smoky Hill Winery. The winery doesn't pay much, but I do get 50% off my wine purchases. ( I take full advantage of that perk.) I'm looking forward to seeing all of you that are attending and will miss catching up with those of you that can't.
