The last 20 have been pretty good to me. After serving a mission to Costa Rica from 1990 to 1992 I attended school at Ricks, ISU, and then finally BSU. I received my degree after eight long years of on again off again studies at BSU and I took the easy road with a degree in Spanish and a minor in economincs. I love school. Sometimes I miss my days at BSU as life was entirely a lot easier in those days. I thought I had stress and worries then but I had no idea what I would be up against later on in life.
I married Michelle Moss in June of 1997. This was the best decision of my life because I definately would have ended up a bum if I had passed her up. I owe Shane Davis for this one because if it hadn't been for him I never would have met her. Life was pretty crazy for me before I met her.
I joined the Border Patrol in 2001 and lived in El Paso, Texas for three years which was quite interesting. Although I don't miss it much I have a lot of good stories. I transferred to Montana in 2004 and lived in a small town on the Canadian Border. Life as a Border Patrol Agent did not have much to offer as far as job satisfaction went, so at the beginning of this year I transferred to Boise and now work for ICE, which is essentially the same thing I did with the Border Patrol, but now I deal with mostly criminal illegal aliens and the workload that we have over here in Boise is over the top but I love it that I am back to being busy once again.
I have done a lot of traveling since '89 and haven't stopped. Now that I am working for ICE I will be able to travel the world which I am really exited about. We go on prisoner escorts to all corners of the earth and there is always opportunity to remain a few days in any country we visit if we so desire. I love to travel so this will work well for me.
I have a great family and we try to stay active. We are happy to be here in Boise because it really fits our lifestyle.
