Since I got out of high school, I did my stint for about a year in Boise, and then came back to Idaho Falls for a few years until I decided that living on the other side of the country in Baton Rouge, LA would be an interesting experience. All I can say is that it was the best of times and the worst of times. Many fond memories and great friends in a different world in the south.
I left shortly after Katrina in 2005 to return back to the Pacific North West and have settled nicely in Seattle living just up from downtown, working the IT life as one would in Seattle.
So, since all the last update from a few years ago, I ended up going through a heart attack the day before my 29th birthday. THANK YOU GENETICS! Got the pipes cleaned out, a few stents put in, and I was good to go. Immediately after that, the economy went BOOM and I spent the next year on unemployment before resettling into my current job with a telecom doing systems support for 911 calls.
Since the heart attack, I have also gotten into a world of volunteer work that takes up most of my time, helping my community, raising money that goes to support local organizations.
